Zero Blast-N-Peen Blast Cabinet

Equipment

It is a Zero Blast-N-Peen (Clemco model BNP 55-2 Suction Blast Cabinet). It can clean, peen, deburr, or finish parts. The enclosure measures 42 inches by 22 inches by 28 inches high (1.1 by 0.6 by 0.7 meters). The system includes a reclaimer and dry filter. (Possible options include: table/tray on internal track; dry filter dust collector; reverse-pulse dust collector.)

Usage

No training is required to use this sandblaster. Instructions are in the Operating Manual linked below. Always turn on the air compressor prior to turning on the blast cabinet.

Other (Benchtop) Blast Cabinet

ALC benchtop sandblaster.

A smaller blast cabinet we have is an ALC Top-Open Benchtop Abrasive Blast Cabinet (model 41389). Carlos donated it to FamiLAB. It can deburr metal parts and strip paint, rust, and other coatings. We have a bag of medium grit media, but we should pick up some fine and coarse media as well.
