We will remember your charity selection, and then every eligible purchase you make at smile.amazon.com will result in a donation.

Q: How much of my purchase does Amazon donate?

A: The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible AmazonSmile purchases. The purchase price is the amount paid for the item minus any rebates and excluding shipping & handling, gift-wrapping fees, taxes, or service charges. From time to time, we may offer special, limited time promotions that increase the donation amount on one or more products or services or provide for additional donations to charitable organizations. As stated above, when using Amazon Smile to support FamiLAB, FamiLAB gets 0.5% of each eligible purpose. While 0.5% doesn't sound like much, it does add up over time and the more people who use Amazon Smile the more it adds up. So, please encourage others to use this method to support FamiLAB. It doesn't cost anything to use this feature and the cost of every purchase doesn't change even though we get a percentage of every eligible item.

Browser Plugins for Chrome:

• There's a plugin that directs you to use Amazon Smile, it's called Smile Always and it will redirect any Amazon page to the Amazon Smile page to encourage you to use it.
• There's also a plugin called Amazon Assistant that can help you when shopping online for items. This Chrome plugin will help you compare items with Amazon when shopping online. This often will bring up competitive items on Amazon. Although it's not always cheaper on Amazon, but if you choose Amazon Smile you will be supporting FamiLAB when you make an eligible purchase.

Browser Plugins for Firefox:

• There's a plugin that directs you to use Amazon Smile, it's called Smile Redirect and it will redirect any Amazon page to the Amazon Smile page to encourage you to use it.

If you choose to select another charity you can do so by going to Your Account and using Change Your Charity, although we'd prefer you stick with "Orlando Hackerspaces Inc" of course.

The Amazon Smile will show what charity you're supporting on the Amazon Smile page. It's shown as "Supporting: Orlando Hackerspaces Inc" right under the search bar.
