Some clarification about my role with updating the FamiLAB wiki and what the wiki is:

• My role as a "Wiki Project Manager" is not to run the wiki alone but to guide and encourage it's updating with continued contributions from other editors.
• I do not control the wiki, I merely update it in collaboration with other admins and editors.
• The wiki is a community resource that is a collection of useful information about FamiLAB and it's members who opt to provide their information.
• I encourage anyone wishing to contribute to the wiki to contact an admin for a wiki account.

Favorite sayings

• I want to have a social life but I hate people.
• Instead of "single" as a marital status, I prefer "Independently owned and operated".
• I don't judge people based on color, race, religion, sexuality, gender, ability or size. I base it on whether or not they're an asshole.
• I'm not mean. I'm blunt. Which means I will tell you the clear difference between a bit naive and incredibly fucking stupid.
• Honesty is the best policy, but insanity is the best defense.
• If you have a problem with me, please write it nicely on a piece of paper, put it in an envelope, fold it up, and shove it up your ass.
• Chances are if it's tasteless and inappropriate I will think it's totally hilarious.

• I have no special talents, I'm just passionately curious.
• I'm not going to censor myself to comfort your ignorance.

Background:

Lloyd Black created the unofficial 'Shadow Division' in order to help the lab but perform tasks behind the scenes where possible.

FamiLAB, as an organization, is NOT responsible for the actions taken by SD members.

There are specific requirements for becoming a member which are not listed anywhere.

General Shadow Division Rules:

1. Do not engage in any lab drama at all.

2. Do not discuss the existence of the Shadow Division with other members.

3. Do not get influenced by people who are not worthy of being listened to.

4. Never brag about what you do in order to help the lab. Many things should be done because it was the right thing to do.

5. Do things for the lab without being told to do so.

6. Perform tasks behind the scenes if possible.

7. Don't perform tasks for attention, general acceptance or recognition.

8. Do perform tasks quietly to assist the lab in order to enhance lab efficiency, lab appearance, and generally make things better for all.

9. The only members who should be aware of major tasks should be the board, so they're aware of what's being done but improper tasks are avoided.

10. When possible, SD members are to wear the red version of the FamiLAB logo, that Lloyd wears. Do not share the reason why it's being worn in red. If asked, it's just personal choice.

11. Official SD members are selected, not voted on.

(There are other rules but they're for member knowledge only.)

Other:

Being SD is NOT officially a FamiLAB subdivision, only Lloyd Black knows who are actual SD members and that information is NOT available by request, so if you're reading this, don't ask.

SD is not a club and doesn't cost money. SD, mostly, is simply a group of individuals who do things quietly, behind the scenes, to get things done that benefit the lab.

There are other aspects of SD that are reserved for dedicated SD members only.
