Custom Images
- Some images were created to some extent entirely from scratch or were more custom than alteration.
- So far, these images were very simple and were drawing upon existing resources.
- Truly custom images can be made depending upon complexity.
Altered Images for the Wiki:
- Altered images are typically altered for minor adjustments like for size, rotation, minor color adjustments and adding transparency for use on the wiki.
- Branded product images are for positive promotion of the products. Minor alterations were made to better suit the presentation of the product on the page.
- Examples of alterations include: resizing, rotation, color adjustments, adding transparency

Embroidery (for FamiLAB members only):
- Putting images on clothing in a quality process, embroidery, is worth doing. The process of having the image made into a embroidery pattern isn't cheap but it can be done.
- The cost of quality digitization is $50+ per image as I have someone else do it. Having it embroidered (which is also done by someone else) is a separate cost depending on size and item to be embroidered.
- What should be embroidered? Hats and shirts are common items to have embroidered with the FamiLAB logo. I have two hats, three shirts and a lab coat embroidered so far with the FamiLAB logo, more with other images.
Using the FamiLAB Logo:
- The FamiLAB logo has already been digitized, so there is no fee for that through me. I'm in possession of the digitized FamiLAB logo being that I paid for it.
- Just the cost of the item to be embroidered and the cost of the embroidery is remaining if you want to use the FamiLAB logo. Just contact me or the board and tell me what you want done.
- Payment upfront is required as I too have to pay upfront for it. Hats, polo shirts, work shirts (like from Dickies) and lab coats are common for FamiLAB members.
- Getting a hat embroidered has it's limitations. Only the logo without text can fit on a hat due to it's size limitation on the front of the hat. You may have "FamiLAB" embroidered on the back as an option.
- There are no refunds or returns for embroidered items, no exceptions. So, think about what you want done carefully and have everything sized properly beforehand.
- I will only deal with permanent FamiLAB members to have embroidery done with the FamiLAB logo, if I'm going to get it processed for you.
- If you prefer, you may go with me to the business where I get it done if you'd like to do that. You can then pay for it there yourself and pick it up personally when it's completed.
- If you choose to go through me, the service is not done through the lab but through me personally, unless you deal with a board member, they will go through their own process.
