Difference between revisions of "Checking items out of the lab"

These are the instructions for when a member considering checking items out of the lab temporarily.

First, read the Lab Tools page to see if the item is owned by the Lab or if it is a personally owned item.
- If you are unsure, ask someone in #lab_ops_and_mgmt on Slack.*In general, tools should not be removed from the lab.
Books are fair game, but need to be returned.
Log into FamiLAB Slack, get on the #borrowed_stuff channel, & write a note with the following info:
- Item
- Borrower
- Date Borrowed
- Anticipated Return Date
When you return it, get on the #borrowed_stuff channel & write a note saying you returned it.
