Getting Started at FamiLAB
If you want to learn more about us, we recommend doing at least one of the things below
- Show up on Tuesday nights - the 1st Tuesday is FamiLAB's Open House and the 3rd Tuesday is the Monthly Member Meeting.
- Start coming to the lab, you can watch & learn, or make & learn, or teach & learn at your own pace.
- Check the calendar for public events. Any member or non-member is welcome at these!
- Join the Forums and introduce yourself!
- Read the Blog to see some of the cool things we've done (and provide content please!)
- Follow FamiLAB on twitter - this tends to be "offical announcement" type stuff for the public.
- Hang out on Slack- This is where most of our day-to-day communication happens, with realtime thoughts and project updates.
- Like us on Facebook
- Start reading up on us using the wiki - there is a lot here.
- Ask questions :)
- Visit https://familab.org/membership/ to learn about our membership process

- ...Know what is going on, or when people will be at the lab? It's best to join our Slack channels. Many great projects at the lab have been kicked off simply by someone asking who will be there on a given night.
